"If you like to spend a little time enjoying a glass of fine wine, I think you're bound to appreciate a visit to this museum which presents methods of wine-growing, the tools and equipment required for it and also the profession of the cooper, which was a closed book to me. My visit gave me a better understanding of the passion that motivates these craftsmen. The house that hosts the museum is one of the loveliest residences on the left shore of Lake Biel."

  • This former residence of the Barons of Gléresse, actually within the borders of La Neuveville commune, is also known as the "Hof" in German and as "Le Fornel" in French. In this superb setting, visitors can inspect bottles, tools, and other items of equipment and objects closely linked to wine-growing.
  • The premises can be hired for conferences, receptions, meetings or gala occasions of any sort.
