"Barely arrived in Biel/Bienne, we walk through the Nidaugasse towards the old town. The jewel of an old town with the Roman source, where the Romans worshipped the God „Benelus“ for many centuries, is fascinating. Incidentally, Biel/Bienne owes its name to this Roman deity. The numerous small restaurants invite you to linger. Along the Museum Mile we walk towards the lake, the sun glistens on the water and we look forward to a pedalo ride."
