First documented in 1228, Worben has grown in recent years to become an attractive town. It is an ideal starting point for business and holiday travel, not least because of its prime location between Biel/Bienne and Lyss, close to the Biel/Bienne-Bern motorway. Public transport connections are provided by the bus service and nearby railway stations. Worben has a variety of leisure facilities including the local museum, the wellness treatments at the Hotel Worbenbad, tennis courts and a beach volleyball court at the multi-purpose building.
