"When I was asked for a photoshoot, I had my first chance to familiarise myself with the tour. So, on a beautiful day at the end of August, we prepared for the off and began our canoe trip. Along its course, the Aare offers some nice loops and curves that add variety to the route. Then we stopped off in Altreu at the "Restaurant Zum grünen Affen”. The restaurant is situated right next to the Aare and offers fine fish dishes. Invigorated, we took on the final stage all the way to Solothurn. I was impressed throughout the tour by the peace and serenity exuded by the Aare and the nature on its banks."
