“The Chasseral is a peak that likes to show off its assets. Its south side is a pleasant hill with dreamy green slopes, whilst the north side is more intimidating because of its strips of rock and mysterious valleys. To start my day, I chose this easy route on the south side. Amid forests, pastures and a completely blue sky, the route gave me a magnificent view of the Plateau of Diesse and the Bernese Alps, Eiger Mönch and Jugfrau and I could even spot the Mont-Blanc.”
