"The hike begins below the ski station at Les Bugnenets, through the Combe Biosse. Fir trees bending beneath a coat of white snow, bluish rocks and purple shadows. So, off we go for half a day of fun! It doesn’t take long for the trapper to break into a sweat. The snowboard strapped to his rucksack (in anticipation of the descent) is starting to weigh him down. As we leave the woodland, he turns off and continues his climb towards the ridge. At the summit, he reaches his high point with a view of the sea of fog. This impression is confirmed over the next hour-and-a-half, walking peacefully on the ridge. As the sun goes down, the admirable trapper has reached his destination: the skiing piste. He changes his equipment. Now he can enjoy the 20-minute ride down to Nods, where a post bus awaits. All he will have to do then is collapse into it, exhausted but very happy!"
